VanillaSkyGirl 6 #1 November 16, 2005 Last night, Gia and I were talking about this. I've never done it, and she claims to not be very good at it due to laughing her bum off whenever she is shot. Apparently, the vest vibrates when this happens, and she is quite distracted by it. Anyhoo, her and I talked about joining forces and kicking Frenchy's bum...at this...sometime in the near future. We haven't actually told him about it, yet. (Hi Nicky!) Maybe we can pour enough Absinthe into him to take him, kick his bum and have him not remember a thing. Hmmm... Seriously though, if we get enough people, it could be a really fun time. (Anyone out in SoCal, let us know, if you're interested.) Has anyone else done this and had fun? Please share. I used to play all the time there was this place that did college night, and it was 5 bucks to play all night. Generally the first game I would rock the house, and then everyone would be gunning for me so I didn't do as well. Unfortuanattly that wsa ruined for us by the parents who would just drop thier kids off give them five bucks and the leave. The kids tore up the place. I would suggest against it for someone who is looking to play every once in a while. At the field I play at they use Origin paintballs, and those don't taste that bad. I like the "death penalty" that slight pain brings. If your skin is really sensitive or you bruise really easily, it won't be quite as slight. Most fields charge $20 for entry $100 for a case of 2000 rounds, and about $20 for rental. If you are playing for the first time you may only need a quater or a half a case. But if this is something you are getting into it will eventually be more expensive than Skydiving. Allthough paintball doesn't have a rule of beer, so you may save money on that. If this is something you may do occasionally for instance if it is a rainy day at the DZ you can play paintball. Paintball dosen't stop for weather. Also some places have indoor fields. LaserQuest, pretty much largest corporation of Laser Tag in America. I traveled all around NA to play. The fun we had. Usually if you sit in a chair, the pack vibrates right on that sweet spot ANYHOOS.. it's a lot of fun. Best way to play, keep moving!! make your targets hard to hit!
