FallingOsh 0 #2 November 21, 2005 I had a friend who had always seen weird shit, even as a little kid. We were walking through my neighborhood one night in high school and he stopped mid sentence and wouldn't move a muscle. I've never seen someone turn so pale and break into a sweat. He said a person standing by a car started running at us and then just disappeared right before he got to us. He's got lots of creepy stories. True or not, he was scared shitless and it really didn't make me too comfortable seeing him like that. -------------------------------------------------- Stay positive and love your life. Beverly 1 #3 November 21, 2005 Don't see them, but feel them. Have walked into homes and sensed them there and found out later that other people have sensed or seen them. Very eerie. I tend to freak out my sisters when it happens though. I would love to learn to channel that more, but I am a bit scared. I have heard that women have more psychic powers than men do, any truth in that? AggieDave 6 #7 November 21, 2005 On the way to Lake Wales last christmas day I was on I-75 about an hour south of I-10. It was roughly 3am and there was literally no other vehicles on the road. When I crested a hill I noticed tail lights in front of me, which I thought odd since there hadn't been any in the past 30 minutes. Just about the time I was focusing on the tail lights to see what lane they were in, etc they spunt around and around then slid spinning into the heavily wooded median. I started slowing down since I was going to pull over, help and call 911, but when I got to where they were there was a cutout in the woods with 3 white wooden crosses there, nothing else. No car, no people, just that cutout area with 3 little white wooden crosses.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." popsjumper 2 #8 November 21, 2005 I'm a believer. Three true stories: The Carpet The 4 of us roomates went "exploring" one night in an empty house in a ritzy house on the wealthy side of town and took out a 10X10 persian carpet. Took it back and put it down in the living room of the apartment. Later, my GF was vacuuming it while the other 3 of us were in the kitchen and we heard a very loud SLAP and a crash in the living room. We turned the corner to see my GF lying in a corner of the room. She said something hit her and knocked her over there and we teased her that she was playing games with us until the side of her face welted and glowed red from a large handprint that was much larger than her hand. Weird. She finished vacuuming and that night we went to bed. The next morning, all the furniture was pushed away from the walls into the center of the room onto the carpet...somebody playing games, right? Nobobdy admitted to it, though. All day that day weird things happened - lights turning on, stereo coming on at full volume (actually blew out one of my speakers), heater on the fish tank shorted and cooked all the fish, unexplained noises, etc. We freaked out and took the carpet back to the empty house and put it right back where we found it..... No more weird happenings after that. ------------- The Traveller My GF could project astrally. While sleeping she could occasionall go places and see and hear things. Don't believe? Neither did we until we started checking up on her and found that things she saw and heard actually happened. ------------ The Dreamer My Dad sometimes had dreams that would come true. He could always tell when a particular dream was significant and would tell us about it in the morning. We learned to pay attention to and heed them whenever the dream affected us. Two examples out of many occurances: He dreamed of my sister's car wreck two days prior but we couldn't get in touch with her - she is a partial quad now. He dreamed of a motorcycle wreck involving my brother and his new wife...they cancelled their planned trip. Yep, I'm a believer. My reality and yours are quite different. Superman32 0 #9 November 21, 2005 I don't believe it, but at the same time I'm no F'in with it either. Those are some scary stories Two of my housemates in college swear that they were just about to fall asleep when this big ball of white light came in the room, moved around and then got out through the porch door. We still sat that they got analy(?) probed Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
druvaughn 0 #10 November 21, 2005 I wasn't really a believer until I started working in my current restaurant. It is definitely haunted (I'm told by two children, one a boy and the other a girl) and while I have experienced happenings I have never directly seen them, just shapes. Some events: 1) With only our executive chef and one server in the building, I sat a family of 4 (a boy, mom & dad, and grandma). While the server approached the table, the boy got up a started running around the dining room saying "little boy come here, little boy lets play." Mom grabbed the kid and asked what was going on, to which the boy replied, "I was chasing a little boy and wanted him to come play with me". 2) We had a woman who claimed to be a psychic in for dinner one night (she was the one who told me it was a little boy and a little girl). She said she could sense their presence around the table from time to time and we could tell because she would get goose bumps and her hair would stand on end. She did order food but once she started feeling them, she didn't eat a thing. She was very freaked out and said that she had never felt anything so strong. 3) We have four hutches in the DR. The doors at the bottom overlap so that one is held closed by the other. The hutch in question is broken and the door's hinges no longer function so the door is either closed or laid out flat on the floor. A lady (whose child was in a stroller back at the table) walked past this hutch and the door swung open; she stopped just in time to avoid being tripped. I closed the doors tightly and went on about my night. It happened again to the father of the baby at the same table when he went to the bathroom (it is disconcerting that about 100 other people all walked passed the door without it opening). The trick here is (don't forget that the hinges haven't worked in 8 months), the door that swung open both times was the one held closed by the other (the one that opened twice was held closed by the other door). There are other smaller things that happen unexplainably, but listing them would take the afternoon. Its nice that they are never malicous (sp?). I have tried doing a little research but there is no information on the building that we are in. It has been several restaurants as well as a B&B over the last 60-70 years. Any number of employees of those previous establishments have returned with stories of their own, some believable and some not. Happy Hunting...- - "Baseball is 90% mental. Andy_Copland 0 #12 November 21, 2005 I used to get a lift to work with a Dr of science who taught at Cambridge, he told me about a time when he was a student and worked with a canadian Prof who made a room and basically bombarded you with electro magnetic waves or something. He said multiple subjects experienced visions and even heard voices. They went to one womens home who experience shit at night and found that there was a huge cock up in her electrical wires above her bed. But then i also done a ouija board withfriends and it said death. The next day a guy jumped in front of a lorry, it was the women who owned the house son.
