NWFlyer 2 #2 November 18, 2005 Don't know a damn thing about the strip clubs here (except that people whine about them a lot...). Depends on what you're looking for. The place is chock-full of brewpubs, yuppie joints, divey bars, pickup scenes, etc. Avoid Pioneer Square ... it's where the tourists and meatheads from the suburbs drink. Lots of fun bars in the downtown area, Capitol Hill has a pretty wide variety - it's the gay/artsy neighborhood but lots of the bars are not gay bars. If you want cool pubs get out into pretty much any of the neighborhoods and you'll find several in each neighborhood. We like our beer. When are you going to be here/what part of town will you be staying in?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Kid_Icarus 0 #3 November 18, 2005 I'm actually going to be in the Kirkland / Bellevue area... but am willing to travel anywhere at night ________________________________________ "What What.....
NWFlyer 2 #4 November 18, 2005 Restaurants ...where to start, there are soooo many. These are ones I've been to that are generally considered "great". If you want more casual/cheaper places, let me know. These are mostly in the $15-$25 for an entree range (some higher). It's Seattle you can go anywhere in jeans, though a few of these places you might feel more comfortable a little more dressed up. Wild Ginger (Asian fusion) Dahlia Lounge (Northwest) Metropolitan Grill or El Gaucho (Steakhouses) Zoe (Northwest) Campagne/Cafe Campagne (French bistro - the cafe is more casual) Etta's Seafood (NW/Seafood) Flying Fish (NW/Seafood) Ray's Boathouse (great food and killer views) Tulio (Italian) Shiro's (Sushi) The Brooklyn (Great oysters/seafood/happy hour) Two Bells Tavern (the one exception on this list - good, cheap burgers and a great little place to drink) There's a lot more that I'm not thinking of right now... These are all downtown Seattle (or nearby neighborhoods). I don't really know Bellvue/Kirkland all that well, though there's a place called Cactus that has a branch out in Kirkland that's really good upscale Mexican/Southwestern. http://www.cactusrestaurants.com/ I'm sure someone who's more familiar with that side will chime in with ideas."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Downtown Kirkland has a decent concentration of bars/restaurants, but the rest of the area is pretty spread out/suburban."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. I LIVE IN UTAH!!! have pitty Well, I think that's part of the problem. I believe that in Washington you can either have all-nude or you can have alcohol, but you can't have both. I believe that's why people say that the strip clubs suck around here.

Smilie 0 #9 November 21, 2005 lol, Krissanne is right, if you want all nude, you have to be sober. I don't know of any in Seattle, but over the eastern border in Idaho they have one. And I am sure Vancouver, BC has more than a few, they are MUCH happier about the human body up that way. But if you just want to look at breasts, and have a beer or two, I have seen more than one strip club in the downtown area, just drive the Aoura strip, you'll run into a few, and casinoes too! Jess ... Fear not death. Fear instead the unlived life.

True, not to mention Seattle/King County has passed an ordinance requiring the strippers to stay like 500 feet away from the patrons. Needless to say, the strip clubs in Seattle area offically suck.
