GrendelKhan 0 #1 November 21, 2005 Yeah so, after all that smack I talked about never quitting smoking..... I quit smoking. I know, I know, I sold out my fellow black lungs, but it had to happen sooner or later. My last smoke was yesterday about 3:00 (I was actually at the DZ for my last one) so that make sit about 20 hours and counting. Im only writing this becaus eI had my first "incident" a few minutes ago. I was meeting with a Lessor who had obviously smoked a square not mor ethan thirty seconds before entering my office. It was really REALLY hard to smile and go over legal documents when I would hav gladly killed her just to suck the tobacco out from under her fingernails. She has no idea how close she came to a quick and rather awkward death. So anyway, I'm just venting, I gues Ill go smash my hand ina drawer, maybe it will take my mind off ciggarettes. mnealtx 0 #2 November 21, 2005 Something that helped a friend of mine when he quit (unfortunately, it didn't help me a bit)... Put a rubber band around your wrist. When you're REALLY wanting a smoke, give yourself a good snap with it. It'll take your mind off wanting one for a little bit. Hope it helps...and good luck!!Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim.
