What are you thankful for?

time for me to be a dork and gush and no one can yell at me for it :) yay

anyway i am super thankful for having a loving family who is super supportive in all that i do.. though we may drive each other crazy at times they are all kick ass....;)

i am thankful for my friends... new.. old... and inbetween... i honestly dont know what i would do without them.. they constantly make me laugh and are there for me whenever i need them... they all are so special and mean the world to me... there is nothing better than knowing that i have the friends i do

i am thankful for skydiving and the wonderful woman(vamp) who introduced me to it... it has made me appreciate so much more in life... the people are wonderful and the experience itself is more than words can describe.. thank you ALL for welcoming me to blue skies with open arms

and of course i am grateful for having the most wonderful man in the world... i have never been so happy and in love :) he has changed my life for the better without changing who i am

everyone that is reading this really has touched my life in some way and i am forever grateful for you doing so.. i love all of you and wish you a warm and loving holiday :)

as always, I'm super thankful for my wife of 10 years who loves me inspite of myself, my 4 wonderful kids who think I'm their hero, a job that pays the bills...

... and a few new, wonderful friends on dz.com this year, as well as the old ones... I love you guys.

Firstmost, I'm thankful that I'm still alive and have feeling in all of my appendages (sp?). A slight shift in circumstances could have changed that so easily.

I'm thankful for the friends that are still around that I laugh with everyday. And I'm thankful for my friends who have already passed away and have made me live for the better.

I'm thankful for a job that no matter how much sucks, provides me with the funds to buy a house and jump when i want to.

I'm thankful for things that make me smile like cold beer, beautiful women, and my goofy family. I'm so happy to be who I am and experience the things I do as opposed to being a brain-dead vegetable. Huge props to whoever is upstairs for guiding me to where I am at today.

I'm thankful for all the "normal" things. Living, breathing, family, good health, healthy kids, skydiving.

But I'm particularly thankful for dz.com. I've made SO many friends on this site. Some folks I may never meet...but mean the world to me anyway. People who can laugh with me, at me or for me...whichever the case needed may be.

I'm particularly thankful to this site for the change it helped bring about in my personal life. I've been a cheerful person since I started skydiving, but had many deep, dark moments that I hid so well.

Because of this site, a simple weight loss thread and a very special man, I've escaped a very depressing personal life. I got up the guts to leave everything familiar behind and take a chance in a new state for a new life and a chance for new-found happiness.

I don't know where my future will take me, but because of you all, I've found the courage to take a chance on things I had given up on. No matter what twists fate might throw me, I know I have you all to help me get through them.

Thank you, dzcommers, for being my friends!!!

thats way too difficult b/c theres so much its easier to piont out the things that suck. LOL but I won't.

--I'm thankful I still have two testicles. I was never in danger of loosing them but...
--I'm thankful for that, too

I am just filled with love today and thankful for everyone and everything, even the bad parts of this last year because without the darkness, I cannot appreciate the light. Still, I am the most thankful for my loved ones...for being loved by those who love me and for being able to love them back. I am so thankful for all that I have and for life's possibilities.

No crap! I had some a couple of weeks ago and was floored, that's some good beer!

I keep my head raised high knowing that I brought Shiner Bock to the skydiving masses via DZ.com and a couple of trips to SD AZ with a few cases in tow.

Which reminds me, can you buy Shiner in Eloy now or do I need to bring some from TX again?

shiner 96? never had it, is that a new brew from them? what kind of beer?

Its a special brew for this year (96th anniversary), its a bit more full bodied and slightly darker then regular Shiner Bock...VERY tastee.

interesting. i've never been a huge fan of shiner, but more full bodied and darker is right up my ally. as for texas beers, give me something from the independence brewery anyday

I've heard of independence brewery but haven't had any of their beers...next time I'm pulling through hippy-land () I'll stop and pick up some different brews and give them a try.
