BASE jumping on Top Gear (UK T.V)

Just seen a rock-climber racing and Audi RS4 (a phenomenal car ...outrageous) up a mountain..... and a BASE jumper raced it down...

Speed climbing 1200ft (ish) in 2 hours!! It looked a fantastic bit of climbing, to me.... 1:57

I tried to rip that segment for skydivingmovies.com last night, but my computer is acting up at the moment. I do have the whole episode in electronic format, if anybody else wants a go at it (stupid BBC America doesn't play any of the good BBC programming, so I'm forced to steal it).

There is now an american version of Top Gear. Same people, same show, same clips. I think all they changed was the stuff they record in the studio to fix the words you guys got wrong.

The Discovery channel version is crap. If you like it, you'll looooove the BBC version.

You should check out Masters of Stone 4. Dan Osman speed solos a 600 foot wall in under 5 minutes. I'd like to see the Audi race someone like that.

althought both the rock climbers BASE, I heard that the jump was actually done by someone with a little more experience. Nice one SE!

That was a very funny piece and it's nice to see the media not paint BASE jumping in any sort of negative light as the media has been known to do in the past. Nice work Top Gear!!!
