Ya know what's really hard to find in the US right now?

American rock bands.. ya they've taken a nose dive. Major record labels aren't producing any American rock because everything is fucking hip-hop. The culture, style etc..

We are getting some decent imports from the north. Canada is still able to export some decent rock.


I hope I'm not alone when I say I wish hip-hop would take a fucking dirt nap with DISCO! Jeez enough is enough.

I am right there with you Slappie. Did you watch the American Music Awards? They were the worste I have ever seen. I mean Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff sang.

I am listening to old rock and I am beginning to listen to country music for the first time. Country music can definelty have an old rock feel.

I guess you are just not looking hard enough. I have around 2500 hundred songs and most of that is "rock". But what the hell is rock anyway? You talking like Elvis Presley rock n roll or Def Leppard rock or what? Today, Ya got The White Stripes, The Strokes, Hot Hot Heat, Queens of the Stone Age, etc if ya want to go mainstream. Many more and even more when you go off major label. The term rock n roll is so loose though, it begs better definition.

I agree with the sentimentthough...most rap these days sucks, but ya just avoid that shite. There is plenty of good music in all genres, if you are willing to search for it
