The good things about the holidays.

The next 6 weeks rock. We just has Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday. Just food, family and fun. No shopping, gifts, etc. Just hang with family and friends, eat and nap on the couch.
I am not the biggest Christmas fan; but, I found my own way to enjoy it. I don't do the tree and light stuff. It's just not me. Instead, I use the time to reconnect with "lost" friends, sponsor an underprivilaged child and do one good deed for my community (volunteer for a day somewhere).
New Years!! Party like a rockstar!! Spend way too much money and have fun!! Wake up to the new year feeling but with a big smile. I figure every day of the year has to be better after the new years hangover.
Enjoy yourselves and have fun!!

Sounds like you have the right attitude for the holidays. I plan to enjoy them myself.

Hey YOU! Glad you're in the spirit of the holidays! I'm not "there" yet, but I'm definitely getting "there" Thanksgiving was a good start but although the Christmas music gives me a migraine, I'm sure I'll be happy happy joy joy really soon at Zhills

Don't make me jealous. I've been on the ground since Sept. At least the bad things that kept me from jumping are done and all is right in the world again.

Looking forward to celebrating every holiday and being at every party in Dec and recovering in Jan. Then back in the air Feb or March.
