RevJim 0 #28 November 29, 2005 Other. My "official" hours are 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. but I am usually at work between 4 and 4:15 (can start right away, no big deal) and it's a "work 'till you get your shit done" kinda job, so I'm usually in my car heading home before 3 a.m.It's your life, live it! Peej 0 #29 November 29, 2005 I'm supposed to be at work from 8.30 till five with an hour lunch break. Unfortunately creativty strikes at odd hours and due to deadlines we often have to stay late with no overtime pay. This weekend for example i was here 11am - 20.00 on Sat and 11am - 19.00 on sunday Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
kbordson 8 #30 November 29, 2005 Typically 6:30-5 or 6, unless on call when it's 6:30 until noon the next day and then call is about 5-7 times a month. I'm just glad for the federal work hour restrictions. (no more than 30 consecutive hours, average less than 80 hrs/wk and need 4 days off in a 4 week period.) Before those limits, it could get harsh. Lindsey 0 #31 November 29, 2005 7 to 5 is typical. This month it's 8 to 8 (either am-pm or the other way around). When I'm on call, it's usually 7am until 1:30 the next afternoon--oops 30.5 hours, but who's counting. I don't necessarily get the 4 days off in a 4-week period all the time. Only once did I work 28 days without a day off. But I still think we have pretty good hours for residents.... linz-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. selbbub78 0 #32 November 29, 2005 I work whenever i feel like showing up. My company likes for us to be here, by 8AM, and we work 9 hour days. HOWEVER... we still work 80 hours in 2 week period, but we get an extra day off. I usually try to get here by 6 or 6:30ish, and leave no later than 4. It doesn't work out too bad, and in the summer.... i sometimes get to work earlier so I can go jump in the afternoon CReW Skies,"Women fake orgasms - men fake whole relationships" – Sharon Stone "The world is my dropzone" (wise crewdog quote) "The light dims, until full darkness pierces into the world."-KDM

livendive 8 #37 November 29, 2005 When I'm in the office: 7 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday. 7 AM to 3:30 PM every other Friday, with the alternating Friday's off. My work week starts mid-day on Friday, so the worked Friday's get split in half with 4 hours going to the ending week and 4 hours to the week coming up. When I'm in the field, I have to be out in the boonies by 6 AM (after starting at my office) and all bets are off as far as what time I'll finish the day. DrewEckhardt 0 #38 November 29, 2005 Usually 9:30ish to 6:30ish Monday through Friday. When I was self-employed my hours were more numerous and variable although I never worked over 216 billable hours in one month. And in my last startup I just worked Monday through Friday with about six hours off each night to eat+sleep (maybe 2am - 8am, maybe 8am - 2pm) plus two hours once or twice a week to fly for an hour.
