Shaking hands is the winner!

No, I'm not a Turtle, but I share his taste in beverage and refreshments.

unscrew one light bulb, perform a perfect river dance, kill a hobo, walk into a room full of second graders and tell them Santa Claus is hiding under their bed with an axe, call an electrician and have him tell you which switch operates which bulb, then travel once between the two rooms.

Theres a room with three normal light bulbs in it (bulbs A,B and C), down a corridoor is another room in which there are 3 switches (Switches 1,2 and 3).
.
How could you tell which switch operates which bulb only travelling between the rooms one time?

Starting in the room with the switches and assuming all the connections are as presented and the bulbs working etc etc:

Turn on 2 switches and wait a bit:
Turn off one of the two switches and go immediately to the room with the bulbs.
Do the river dance, kill a hobo, etc etc etc.

1 bulb is on - goes with the on switch
1 bulb is off/warm - goes with the switched off switch
1 bulb is on/cold - goes with the always of switch

If, having only one match, on a freezing winter day, you entered a room which contained a lamp, a kerosene heater, and a wood burning stove, which should you light first.

You should light the match first, right?

Sounds like a trick question, and you would be correct.

If it is assumed that you light the match first, and they're looking for which other item to light next, then I would choose the wood stove. Because once that is lit, a piece of wood can be removed to light the other two items. But you can't light other items easily using something like a kerosene heater, without spilling fuel and burning the place down.

This one isn't a fancy riddle, but a real-life mystery. Photo attached.

I was hiking in the desert a mile from the nearest dirt road, which was another mile from the nearest paved road. I found this clay roofing tile laying on a boulder. The land is passable only by foot, and this was a heavy item weighing maybe 10 lbs. There are no buildings within several miles.

How the heck did this heavy roofing tile get out here in the middle of nowhere?

I can't imagine someone packing that item out there on foot for no reason, and can't imagine any other way it could have gotten out there. Weird!

Post a riddle, IF you post an answer. If you don't post a correct answer then you can't post a riddle. Fair?

sure.

Now here is my riddle:

A man stops his car in front of a hotel and goes broke.

One word, 8 letters will suffice as the correct answer.
