hungarianchick 0 #2 December 1, 2005 The Chamber of Commerce website should give you an extensive list of places to stay. Just Google Burlington, VT! Good luck! "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."

In the summer I can stay at the Marriott in Burlington for $50/night - in the winter that jumps to almost $200. My recommendation would be to stay outside of Burlington itself. Where are you going? Rutland (about an hour south) has OKEMO and other resorts and it really is a ski town but real nice. They have tons of hotels to choose from, but with the same pricing problem. Best of luck! You'll have a blast, its really beautiful up there JenArianna Frances
 Chrissay 0 #8 December 1, 2005 Quote My recommendation would be to stay outside of Burlington itself. and we are certainly game for that. The plan is to party in Burlington the first night and then head to a resort to ski for the weekend. If it means cheaper, I don't think anyone will mind driving an hour. I am definately very excited about going, I don't recall ever going to Vermont, and if I have, it wasn't at this time of year
 JayFitz164 0 #9 December 1, 2005 Stowe/Suggerbush is the place to be and stay. Check out Miguels for cheap lodging, good food, and beer. The Shed is fun spot for drinks as well. The mountain ale will put you on your ass! If you are feeling adventurous and can handle alot of the French Canadian vibe Jay Peak gets more snow than any place in VT. Fairly close to Montreal. VT is very green this time of year :)
 dmcoco84 5 #10 December 1, 2005 Oh man I love vermont!! It is so nice up there. Just really cold!!! Anyone ever been to Greensboro, VT? My family owns the Willy’s General Store in that little "middle of no where" town. Coco Edit to add: http://www.highlandlodge.com/ Is a nice place. Might be out of your way though...
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
