diverds 0 #1 November 23, 2005 Skydive Radio is organizing a private online poker tourney just for skydivers on December 1st, 2005 at 9:00pm ET. This will be a Texas Hold'em no limit tourney. The buy-in is $10 plus a $1 fee that goes to Pokerstars (the site hosting the tourney). To play you need to go to www.pokerstars.com and download their free poker software. They are a very popular and reputable online poker site. Install the software on your computer and set up an account. From the main lobby, select "Tourney" then "Private". Scroll down to December 1st and double click on "Skydive Radio's NL Texas Hold'em Tourney", then click on the "Register" button. The password is toggle. Good luck and have fun! Thanatos340 1 #3 November 23, 2005 I will be there. Just one question though.. Why 6:00PM Eastern time?? That will cut out many west cost people who will still be at work at that time.
brits17 0 #4 November 23, 2005 DOH! You're right, I'll still be at work _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

I guess it's because my time zone calculation was dyslexic. I will change it to 9:00pm ET. Thanks for the heads up. If you have already registered you will need to re-register after I remake the tourney. Skydive Radio

boinky 0 #12 November 25, 2005 After what seemed to be an act of Congress to download (had errors in the install) , deposit money (site wouldn't take my debit/visa card) and no physical checks for netteller (I made up a check number) ....I AM FINALLY REGISTERED! boinky 0 #14 November 26, 2005 Awww...it's OK. I rationalize it by saying to myself that every time I have issues with my computer, I have to learn something new to make it work right. One of my favorite phrases is "Only the mediocre are always at their best." The way MY computer acts, I'll be learning for the rest of my life!!!! Never have to worry about Alzheimer's that way! Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? shellybellyfly 0 #15 November 28, 2005 Damn! The freaking thing will not take any of my credit cards... and I've even been practicing since it had been awhile since I've played...
diverds 0 #16 November 28, 2005 Shelly, Open a Neteller account. That will accept your credit cards and pokerstars will accept neteller. It takes a day or two to sign up to neteller though. You have to verify your bank account the same way as with paypal. -Dave Skydive Radio
Thanatos340 1 #17 November 28, 2005 Anyone who wants to play in this tournament but doesnt want to Jump through all the Hoops to set up a Real Money Account (AND THAT I KNOW PERSONALLY), PM me and I can transfer money into your account so that you can play, You can just pay me back with Paypal or in person. You will need to set up a regular account and then PM me your User Name. It takes 24 to 48 Hours for an account transfer to show up so dont wait untill the last minute. shellybellyfly 0 #18 November 28, 2005 Geez, Neteller won't work either. It would take 4-5 business days to verify my account info. I should NOT have waited until the last minute! They should just use paypal....
Thanatos340 1 #19 November 28, 2005 Neteller or Firepay only takes 2 to 3 days usually. Go ahead and set it up. If it doent go through in time, We will find a way to get you in. As for Paypal... Once paypal was bought out by Ebay, Ebay decided they did not want to do business with Gambling sites. It is not the Poker sites not taking paypal.. It is Paypal not taking Gambling Sites. NickDG 23 #22 November 28, 2005 Anyone getting the "bandwidth exceeded" message when trying to access Skydive Radio? NickD BASE
diverds 0 #23 November 28, 2005 The site is back up now. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our hosting company had to pull the plug on us until they could secure more bandwidth or they were going to loose all the other sites they host as well. We're trying to upgrade to 300 GB per month. If this works out we shouldn't have any more problems for awhile. Skydive Radio
diverds 0 #24 November 30, 2005 The Tourney is in 2 days. You still have time to sign up. Good luck. Skydive Radio
