NickDG 23 #2 December 2, 2005 Looked like a big ad for "Go Fast" and SDC which is alright but they lost me when the SDC advert claimed to be the "safest option" in the Midwest. DZ's that claim that are kind of lame and just shitting on the rest of the sport. You can be just as safe at some little Podunk DZ that only has a C-172. It's also well known in the aviation community that it's bad luck to advertise safety and that's why the airlines never do it. Back in the early days, the 20s and 30s, fledging airlines did so, but one by one they all had fatal accidents. Nowadays to get your mind off the chance you'll wind up shredded in a crumbled ball of aluminum they make out that taking off and landing on time is the most important thing. Lolie 0 #3 December 2, 2005 I'm guessing you mean CSC (Chicagoland Skydiving Center)? SDC is Skydive Chicago--a whole different dropzone. Or maybe I missed something on the website, which is defintely a possibility. On another note: I see where they were going with the whole "x-stream" thing, but um, make sure you don't type in www.realextreme.com. NSFW!!! -Miranda you shall above all things be glad and young / For if you're young, whatever life you wear it will become you;and if you are glad / whatever's living will yourself become.
