SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 December 6, 2005 good concert to see? Queen is coming to town. I guess without Freddie its really not the same, just like INXS isn't the same either... Damn I wish I was born sooner...........(no...I take that back, but you know what i mean.) BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude. popsjumper 2 #2 December 6, 2005 It would be for me...I was always more interested in the musicianship more than the lyrics/vocals anyway. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239

SkydiveStMarys 0 #5 December 6, 2005 Do a goggle search on Queen, they have a website for this concert. He's playing and I believe producing the concert too. BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.

kenz 0 #7 December 6, 2005 i dunno imo i feel like that would be like seeing the doors with scott stapp as the front man... they will never be the same without jim.... queen's music always kicked ass but it definitely would not be the same without freddie"life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

popsjumper 2 #9 December 6, 2005 On the whole, I agree...I'm one of those who hears the music...the lyrics just get in the way... Yeah, I know, lyrics are important to the song as a cohesive thing. Funny, my son is just the opposite...hears the lyrics but couldn't tell you the music even after repeated listenings...My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Bobbi I'd go see them because Brian May is a great guitar player, but I dont think its Queen without Freddie anymore than the Dead is the Dead without Jerry Garcia. They should call themselves something else.__ My mighty steed
ccowden 0 #11 December 6, 2005 Holy slap in the face to all music, Batman!! Did you just compare Queen losing Freddie Mercury to INXS losing Michael Hutchence??? I mean, I love INXS and think they WERE one of the best pop bands of their time, but come on!
BillyVance 35 #12 December 6, 2005 Quote On the whole, I agree...I'm one of those who hears the music...the lyrics just get in the way... That's me as well... I just like the rythm and beats... and songs with easily recognizable refrains and lyrics... My ears just can't process all the bullshit... ccowden 0 #14 December 6, 2005 Ok. I will give you that. I love INXS and think they wrote the 2nd best pop song of all time with "Never Tear Us Apart," but I wouldn't go see the new INXS if you paid me.
