I'm driving from MD to FL and I want to stop somewhere along the way to jump. Does anyone know if any of these dropzones are open during the week?

Blue Sky Adventures, Flying Tiger Sport Parachuting or Skydive Walterboro

If you're driving on I95, Blue Sky Adventures in St. George is not too far from the highway.

I just noticed on their homepage that they temporarily relocated "For at least the next couple of weeks, we'll be jumping out of Summerville Airport." Summerville is pretty close to Charleston. They have directions on the site, and you may want to call, since they may have returned to St. George by now.

I normally jump at Blue Sky's. Just got an email last week saying they have returned to St. George! Although they might be on their weekend schedule right now. Give them a call.

St. George was in the processes of getting their runway re-paved. That is why they have been at Summerville. If I remember correctly, they just finished. I will check my email when I get home from work and let you know for sure.
