nbblood 0 #3 December 8, 2005 I like the Ks. I don't know why, just do.Blues, Nathan If you wait 'til the last minute, it'll only take a minute.
Rebecca 0 #4 December 8, 2005 What's your last initial? Take that into account... Also, Cadence is the traditional spelling, which means Kadence has a higher chance of being misspelled by others... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? kelel01 1 #6 December 8, 2005 Awww . . . you could have a little CEO! I definitely like the C's better. Other than with names that are spelled with Ks 99% of the time (Kevin, Katie, Kelly, etc.), I find that Cs look softer and less ugly. I have no idea why. Edit: Cs look less trendy, I think, and more classic.
Rebecca 0 #7 December 8, 2005 QuoteCs look less trendy, I think, and more classic Word. (When the traditional spelling is a C - traditional K names rock too!) you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? NWFlyer 2 #9 December 8, 2005 QuoteBut.. but... but... your a K! I would have thought you would have liked the K's Kel..... Hmmm this is not going quite how I expected.... Yeah, I gotta admit that even though I spell my name with a K, I'd go with "C" for those names, too."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Lindsey 0 #10 December 8, 2005 Edit: Cs look less trendy, I think, and more classic. ...and too girly to use in Caden as a boy's name.... I don't much like Kaden either though. I'd say start from scratch on the boy's name and stick with Cadence for a girl. Just my $.02! linz-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. wmw999 2,584 #11 December 8, 2005 Well, I'd've said the opposite. Caden seems to be an increasingly popular name (my brother's name is Carl, and he's not exactly girly ), and makes sense. But, well, Cadence is a rhythm and not a name -- hadn't heard it, and it sounds too much like someone I know who named his first two children Flavia and Flavio, because he liked the name so much. Candace is unlikely to be misspelled (and having your name misspelled regularly is just a pisser) Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
Lindsey 0 #12 December 8, 2005 But Carl's a manly name. Manly is good :) Flavia and Flavio....lol. There was also Orangello and Lemonjello. In both names the accent is on the 2nd syllable....I guess to make the children to appear less like the desserts. linz-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. I wanted Jonathan Kade she Wanted Preston..etc etc..Girls names are much easier. My first baby had her name long before she was even concieved (Lindsey Michele) We never got close on a boys name then either. Good thing she came out a Girl or things could have been realy ugly. I still want to name it Jumper if it turns out to be a Boy MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have. We must live life to the fullest EVERY DAY. SpeedRacer 1 #16 December 8, 2005 I didn't know "Cadence" was a name. I thought it was the thing the DI chanted while the new recruits ran. Like in Officer & a Gentleman: "Casey Jones was a son of a bitch! Drove his train in a 30-foot ditch! Came on out with his dick in his hand Said, "Listen, ladies,|I'm a hell of a man." Went to his room and lined up 100. Swore up and down|he'd fuck every one. Fucked 98|till his balls turned blue. Then he backed off, jacked off,|and fucked the other two! ncfitzge 0 #19 December 8, 2005 It's the same thing Cadence = a rhythmic sequence or flow of sounds in language b : the beat, time, or measure of rhythmical motion or activity Air Force calls them Cadence if its clean and jody if it is more raw... My vote is for the K's. Not as many people spell it that way. But then again, I knew a brat name Kaden....And I'm not trying to be funny or an ass.#148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" catfishhunter 2 #20 December 9, 2005 So far it seems the majority likes the C's I guess Cadence if it is a Girl but it is Close on Kaden/Caden so what ever the majority is on that spelling is what it will be since the two of us cannot agree. I am heading to Vegas in a couple hours so whatever the majority is on Monday you all will have decided the spelling of our new little Jumper Now thats a Scary thought!
