Rebecca 0 #2 December 8, 2005 Sounds like Reno 911! I'd be curious to see the tapes to judge whether it really IS that bad, or if the officials are getting all twisted in a bunch over an actual, well-done satire... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? sdctlc 0 #3 December 8, 2005 That is crazy..... The only thing I can see them getting in trouble for is miss use of public funds. If the shooting of the video was done during "off time" the subject matter is, well at very least, should not be the focus. Offensive or not they can do what they want for a private /personal video provided it is not breaking the law. Who cares if it is tastless. The hitch it seems to me will be the use of time and funds. "Dark day" for the SFPD the chief said, that is funny.. I hope the guy and the 20 others win the case.. Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!" Diversgodown 0 #5 December 8, 2005 Damn! people need to get their panties out of a bunch! If it was done on personal time and as humor what is the problem. look at all the comedians that do racial acts. i hope they win too. ***Glory Favors the Bold***

Some of it was seriously bad and some of it was more goofin' around. There were parts that were racist and demeaning toward women. Other parts just showed more of a Keystone Cops 'attitude'. It really didn't come across as up-lifting or educational. Chuck

Deuce 1 #8 December 8, 2005 All humor is usually at somebody's expense. The Mayor and the Chief over there are some of the most humorless people on the planet. Police work is funny f*cking stuff. The cops all knew better, though. I remember when "In Living Color" was on, we used to talk about how come it was funny coming from the TV, but if we discussed the episodes at work we could be disciplined for racism. Just cause it's funny on Reno 911, doesn't mean it's OK to reproduce with the City's stuff.
