Snowwhite 0 #1 December 10, 2005 For those of you who know me, you know I rarely carry a purse. Well, I took my "World Free Fall Convention" purse with me to mc donalds for a nice hot cup of coffee this morning, and it was stolen! Geez!! Not a cent in it, but all of my contact information for all of you guys was. I am really hoping that everyone will send me things like phone numbers and email info again so that I can rebuild my information base. I do have emails in most cases in my computer, but not phone numbers, and how can I call and bug you if I don't have your number?? Help, I'm having phone withdrawals already!! chutem 0 #4 December 10, 2005 Did you have you driver license/ID in it? My wifes purse got stolen, then a female with similar looks took her DL to the bank and opened a checking account with $5. She then went all over town writing bad checks on the account in my wife's name. We found out when police came to the door for my wife for all the bad checks. Was a major pain in the ass. masterrig 1 #5 December 10, 2005 Seriously, check trash cans and dumpsters in the area! A purse snatcher will usually go through it, get the valuables then get rid of it. If, the trash has been picked-up already, I doubt there's any hope of finding it. Sorry to hear this happened to you. I hate thieves!!! Chuck

Thanks for the suggestion! As far as dumpsters go, I checked all of them right away. My drivers was in the purse, but I was in Superior Wisc, and I live in Illinois. Doubt that they can use it for much there. I think this was a guy who was pissed at me for sitting in "his" booth at McDonalds. Bet he just picked it up and threw it away, I just didn't look in the right garbage cans.... btw, did AOL help you out with the bill? I had a problem with them about a year ago, and they fixed it right up. They had been charging my checking account with all kinds of stuff I hadn't ordered. They credited it all back..skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
