dmetz 0 #1 December 12, 2005 All my life, a "CASE" of beer contained 24 beers. And a "12-pack" obviously contained 12. I have heard people in different parts of the country refer to a case as a "24-pack", and a 12-pack as a "case" What do you consider to be a case of beer?_________________________________________ "If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?" skinnyshrek 0 #4 December 12, 2005 While your defining a case you should also define BEER. Had a Grad student the other week bring natural lite...WTF. USPA should include good beer in the sims manual.http://www.skydivethefarm.com do you realize that when you critisize people you dont know over the internet, you become part of a growing society of twats? davedlg 0 #13 December 12, 2005 In general, 24 is a case. However when dealing with Microbrews and more expensive beers, the maximum quantity you can buy them in is often 12, and that seems to be considered a case for those beers.

Diversgodown 0 #16 December 12, 2005 It's the damn kids just turning 21 they've done so many drugs they have no clue what a case is. a case is 24. just like a dozen is 12 and a bakers dozen is 13. My 20 Year Old woman always says get a case of (whatever) so I usually come out with a case of cans. and see will say I hate drinking out of cans and I say well you said to get a case. If you want bottles say get an 18 pack....Yes i am an ass but i don't mind cans and there cheaper. I have to call BS on this one, because I grew up in the "frozen tundra" near Green Bay, and knew from early on that a case is 24 bottles and that a flat is 4 sixpacks of cans (and that is still 24 in case you are math-deficient). That terminology still was effect when I spent 2 years in Detroit in the early '90s. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
