How many beers in a case?

Recommended Posts

All my life, a "CASE" of beer contained 24 beers. And a "12-pack" obviously contained 12.

I have heard people in different parts of the country refer to a case as a "24-pack", and a 12-pack as a "case"

What do you consider to be a case of beer?

While your defining a case you should also define BEER. Had a Grad student the other week bring natural lite...WTF. USPA should include good beer in the sims manual.:)

It's the damn kids just turning 21 they've done so many drugs they have no clue what a case is. a case is 24. just like a dozen is 12 and a bakers dozen is 13. My 20 Year Old woman always says get a case of (whatever) so I usually come out with a case of cans. and see will say I hate drinking out of cans and I say well you said to get a case. If you want bottles say get an 18 pack....Yes i am an ass but i don't mind cans and there cheaper. One day I'll learn her. ;):):)

up north 12 beer is a case. It's rare you can buy them in 24's. If you can, it's called a flat

Where up north?

I have to call BS on this one, because I grew up in the "frozen tundra" near Green Bay, and knew from early on that a case is 24 bottles and that a flat is 4 sixpacks of cans (and that is still 24 in case you are math-deficient). That terminology still was effect when I spent 2 years in Detroit in the early '90s.

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
