Look closer, you will see your wife.

I actually had special instructions from the people in power to avoid nudity.

Certain places, ie. DZ bars and so on, will not play those vids due to underage (why are they in the bar in the first place) or older stuckup folks in the bar...

I do not know the circumstances of said video.
What I can tell you is this...if someone is contracted to make a video (compensated in slots or otherwise) they (contracting company) have every right to determine what goes in the video. Skydive Arizona for example is trademarked. Which means permission must be sought for use in association with goods produced for commerical use.
As to competition footage, for the most part it belongs to the sactioning body such as the USPA for example for training of judges and scoring.
It is currently a subject of debate in that if the team agreement does not specifically give film rights to the governing body, then it belongs to the videographer to do as he or she pleases.
In short, they may be required to provide footage of competition jumps for judging and scoring, but may deny the use for competition videos produced for the public.

everyday it seems there are more people who want to object to another's idea of Fun and Entertainment...

a sad state of affairs in the "land of the free" [:/]

a very nice video Ben (slow slow connection out here) keep it up and continue to make the videos that make YOU happy...

Thank you very much, glad you like it.

The no nudity rule.. that's ok.. there's a place and time for that.. and its not in skydiving videos ;)

Remster is referring to the first one of the FLYTRYBE videos I did, the summer one, that had a boobie jump performed by some young, well proportioned semi-professional lady... it was fine, nothing that would not be on European television at prime time... but then again some people are more conservative than others... It's fine by me.

—I guess Remi was affected by those images.

Indeed. However most DZ bars are privately owned. They too must follow the law or lose their license. After that they can decide what is or is not acceptable in their establishment.

very true.. however they may also be interpreting the law entirely to strictly.. particularly in reference to the kind of nudity generally seen in such videos

The law in Arizona is pretty clear and even if it weren't it still is a privetly owned business.

I agree.. and the reason people do this, is because some people interpret the law even more strictly and start sueing people that look at it a little bit less strict..

You just have to be way careful these days with videos, it's sad but true. I'm not offended by nudity and neither are any of my friends or family.. but some people are, and even though they should loosing up..( in my opinion) you have to respect that they just dont see things the same way..

It's probably not Skydive Arizona or the Bent Prop or anyone in that business that's offended.. it will be some uptight customer that walks into the Bent Prop and sees this one boob shot in a video that is played there and it will have the owner of the bent prop sued and possibly lose his / her license...

Again.. super cool video.. I can't wait to be out there and flying with all of you in Eloy!

oh yea little one, always and forever.... it isnt personal at all... it's more a (un)quiet rage with the ever shrinking bits of joy, freedom and community i feel slipping away in the name of business and political correctness.....

at some point it is up to all of us to say "this far and no further"

Hi Benji,

You did a fantastic job editing that video.

The Halloween/Thanksgiving Boogie was defiantly entertaining... and alot of fun.

Glad I made the video B|

Cheers,
Karri
