morningdove831 0 #1 December 18, 2005 I've been trying to upload an avatar or icon in my profile to be displayed when I post. (I'm really wanting to use a pic of my son). I use PhotoShop for all my photo editing; however, no matter how small I make the pic, this website says it is too big. Using PhotoShop, how do I get the image small enough? Any help is appreciated! i.c 0 #2 December 18, 2005 Too big pixel size, or too big file size? If it's pixel size, then just reduce it to whatever the forum limits are on the "Image - Image Size" menu. If it's file size, just go to "File - Save for Web", and then you can move the slider for Quality, and it'll tell you how big the file size will be. But I don't know what the forum limits are for that either!

BillyVance 35 #5 December 19, 2005 Sure, take the easy route... The basic rule is the picture file must be less than 10 KB to be used as an avatar. I know I have had to resize some pictures a few times to get them under the limit.
