The undefeated Indianapolis Colts lost yesterday to the San Diego Chargers and their quest to play an undefeated season comes to an end for another year. The Colts are still alive and well sporting a 13-1 record and are one of the league favorites to win it all this year. But the fans of the 1972 Miami Dolphins can rejoice as this team is still the only team to ever play an entire undefeated NFL season.
