daniel_owen_uk 0 #3 December 19, 2005 Firstly what format are the videos in? If they are in the correct format for your ipod, then you go to library click file click add file, done. If not you will have to convert it, I have been using Xilisoft convertor with a lot of success.__________________ BOOM Headshot

daniel_owen_uk 0 #5 December 19, 2005 You are using itunes right (I am a pc user so it might not be exactly the same, and thinking about it you might not be able to get that software for macs either).__________________ BOOM Headshot

murrays 0 #7 December 19, 2005 If you've been doing them in iMovieHD, Click Share in Quicktime and select for the iPod and it will export them in iPod format. You can also use Quicktime Pro to convert them to iPod format.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

daniel_owen_uk 0 #9 December 19, 2005 Video encoding is one of the most CPU intensive operations you can do. So yeah it probably should.__________________ BOOM Headshot

murrays 0 #11 December 20, 2005 Yes, it takes forever to do the encoding into H.264...quality is great but it does take time. I converted a 38 minute video and let it run overnight...probably took about 6-7 hours. I have an old 800 mhz G4 Flatpanel iMac with 768mb Ram.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
mr2mk1g 10 #12 December 20, 2005 Sell the ipod and buy something decent like an archos. Then it would just work.
