1969912 0 #1 December 23, 2005 Moving bites. Pulling an all-nighter to get outta here. Found my old logbook though - 28' rounds used, 1980. Moving near West Plains DZ in Davenport, WA. Will use them when they reopen in April. McDuck 0 #2 December 23, 2005 When I lived in Washington state, back in the 90's, there was a DZ right on the outskirts of Spokane. In fact it was right near the endangered species park where I worked with big cats. I'm guessing it went away, as I didn't see it in operation before I moved. But I know what you mean about moving. I picked up my life in Spokane and dragged it across the country to NC. I'm still unpacking four years later.Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. McDuck 0 #6 December 23, 2005 QuoteYou worked with big cats? Cool. Davenport is about 25 mi.. west of Spokane. I volunteered at an endangered species park and trained tigers, leopards and pumas, as well as a few bobcats, a lynx, a serval and some other cats I can't recall at this moment. Oh, the stories I have. McDuck 0 #12 December 23, 2005 #1 - who says *I* did anything? #2 - from what I can gather, it wasn't FOR the watch; the watch just happened to be the spoils. #3 - Rolex watches are good for one thing in MY book (since I'm not fond of timepieces): jump tickets. cocheese 0 #25 December 23, 2005 I think this guy is going to be ALRIGHT. He just needs to quit being an engineer about everything and put a rig on. Best way to get rid of gear fear is to test it. Best way to test it is to Fly that shit ! Your hesitation to dive into the sport has me worried. Hesitation in this sport is something you do when you're on the ground and it's too windy.Hope you jump sooner than next year. Next year isn't guaranteed to open either.
