Can I change my cutaway handle?

I own a javelin, but I really like the soft cutaway handle with a thumb pocket that strong makes for the quasar 2. Would it be legal for me to get one of strong's cut to to the javelin length and use it on my javelin? Or is this a big no no? Thanks.

I don't know what they'll tell you now over the phone, but after you die they'll be out to shoot your rigger, your family, and your dog. So if you're cool with that go ahead.
