happythoughts 0 #3 December 24, 2005 About 5 years ago, I was in the parking lot at the dz and a guy drove up in a 2-door hatchback. He had taken out the passenger side seat and put in a piece of plywood and made a bed there. The window behind the driver had a small a/c unit. He had a mini-RV for under $700. Vectracide 0 #6 December 24, 2005 Oh man, thats awesome. I was in Lake Havasu for a week, (it gets hot as hell there) and all I had to sleep in was the back of a truck. I brought my window a/c unit and make a plywood cutout to fit the back of the canopy opening thus blocking off the outside and supporting the unit. Then plugged it into the rv pole. It got cold as hell inside the back of that truck when it was 90+ outside. The problem was, I needed someone to close me inside the truck, as I couldn't get it all in place from inside and close at the same time!
