New A/C for my car!!!

Recommended Posts

When the man at the auto repair shop told me that it would cost $1400 to fix my car's air conditioning, I just laughed at him and said I can fix it myself for a whole lot less than that!" MY MOMMA DIDN'T RAISE NO FOOL !!!!!!!

See pic... ;)

About 5 years ago, I was in the parking lot at the dz and a guy drove up in a 2-door hatchback.

He had taken out the passenger side seat and put in a piece of plywood and made a bed there. The window behind the driver had a small a/c unit.

He had a mini-RV for under $700. :D
He stayed for a couple of weeks and then off he went.

Is that seriously your car - or a photo you found...

If it is your car...

1) Please don't be my rigger.
2) Does the electric generator have a feed off the gas tank of the car, because if not, you are not done yet...

Don't worry, I do not have that kind of mechanical aptitude to configure such a contraption... :D

It was in an email... duh... ;)

Oh man, thats awesome. :D

I was in Lake Havasu for a week, (it gets hot as hell there) and all I had to sleep in was the back of a truck. I brought my window a/c unit and make a plywood cutout to fit the back of the canopy opening thus blocking off the outside and supporting the unit. Then plugged it into the rv pole. It got cold as hell inside the back of that truck when it was 90+ outside. The problem was, I needed someone to close me inside the truck, as I couldn't get it all in place from inside and close at the same time! Duh.
