weegegirl 2 #1 December 23, 2005 ... a way to find all your past addresses? I know I should know where I've lived, but I've moved so many times I've lost track of some addresses! Is there a background check we can do on ourselves? I'm trying to score a contract that needs a background check done and I have to list all my past residences. My head hurts just thinking about it! weegegirl 2 #3 December 23, 2005 haha... thanks cheeseball! but the only way anyone can help me is by listing the 30 or 40 different places i've lived! that will teach me not to move any more! gosh!
Broke 0 #4 December 23, 2005 man that bites... I believe that you only need for the past ten years. Also with a background check they are going to ask you for someone who can verify this information. The bitch of it all is, that you can't use the same person twice. You might be able to get in contact with you olf telephone comapnies, or cable companies, and they may have that info. However getting the info will be the hard part. What kind of background check is this? ie where you looking to get a job?Divot your source for all things Hillbilly. weegegirl 2 #5 December 23, 2005 yeah, it blows. but the job is way worth it. it's a government job, as are most of the jobs in the dc area. that's about all i can say online. but almost every government job does this. pretty standard. just managed to get away without doing it for my last contract. and even if it only goes back ten years, i've lived in about 10 different states in 10 years. let this be a lesson to you all!!! vagabonds are bad, mkay! cocheese 0 #6 December 23, 2005 Back of Parachutist has a bunch of addresses you can use. Or just leave out the ones you forgot and tell them the name of the town. Back ground schmack ground. Like that's going to stop them from hiring YOU. You don't have time for no stinkin back ground checks. You're D.B. Cooper's daughter for rice sakes. RhondaLea 4 #16 December 23, 2005 QuoteAlso, check out Zabasearch. You'd be amazed at the amount of info it has. Quite a bit of it incorrect or outdated. I did me. It has an address I lived at more than ten years ago and a more generic listing with my month and year of birth, plus a whole lot of dopplegangers. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Off-hand, I can count 7 different places I have lived at on my own since leaving the nest. The last one 5 and a half years so far, my longest tenure... Of course, it's my own house! Katzeye 0 #21 December 27, 2005 Hey WeeGee, I'm a gooberment employee and have done the clearance stuff. If you can't remember, just be honest. Maybe you can get a listing from irs.gov or something also? Also another key thing - save that database that you enter all the information into FOREVER. It sucks to have to retype all that crap if they want to put you up for a higher clearance... Is a chicken omelette redundant?
