noblesmelissa 0 #1 December 27, 2005 Well, it's that time of year again when my job hosts its annual holiday work party. They give out only three drink tickets per person but then serve freeflowing wine with dinner. That just means that you use your tickets up first thing on hard liquor and then proceed to get plastered on wine. Then you wait until everyone gets up to dance and you steal their drink tickets off the table and drink more hard liquor resulting in the worst hangover EVER the next day. Isn't that what you're supposed to do? Maybe I'm going about this all wrong every year...
NWFlyer 2 #2 December 27, 2005 Well, as long as you're working for the same company every year, then I'd guess you're not doing anything too wrong. selbbub78 0 #4 December 27, 2005 Only 3 drinks.... that sucks... Ours had an 1 1/2 hour cocktail hour which concisted of a full stocked bar, and a martini bar (that was awesome), but after cocktail hour the martini bar went away, but still had the full stocked bar. It rocked!! At least you were able to steal other people's tickets. That's a plus. noblesmelissa 0 #5 December 27, 2005 Yeah, I have my moments!! I think they stopped having open bar after one of the kitchen staff got pulled over for DWI one year... Still, they shouldn't underestimate the will of the Food & Beverage Department when we want something... Also, our parties have "themes". Last year was "disco"..
