betsy, can I put my jump tickets on plastic, or do I need to bring cash?

Dude, tell whoever is sitting next to you to hit you in the shoulder for asking such a question. Hit yourself if you are alone. I don't see how anyone would be able to "afford" to skydive (or a DZ survive) if they didn't have/take plastic.

Does that apply to debit, or just credit?

Go hit yourself again.

Go read some of grue's previous posts before you knock him. He's a hell of a lot smarter about money than I was in college. I give him props for budgeting/saving for this trip.

And how long is the waiting list for 8-way?

I dont think its long at all since I got 2 friends from the UK who dont post much on it this AM.

Hmmm, maybe I'll just swoop your slot when you end up sick that day. :P

I need a favor!!
Please...PUHLEEEZ ask Gasson to jump!
He has been whining at me for days about how few of the dropzone.com folks ask him to jump at this boogie.
Now granted he is a little shy, but I promise you he really does want to jump with anyone that would have him!
He has 4 rigs all ready to go so he can make just about every load, and he isn't a bad skydiver...really!:)
Anybody?

Gotta go... plaything needs to spank me
Feel the hate...

I would get an *enormous* kick out of jumping with Greg Gasson -- it's just that it's so early on the learning curve for me with FF that it'd be a waste of his expertise, I'm afraid. ( I'm still just trying to learn to sit without looking like a marble in a blender. ):D

I'm completely in awe of that guy...

Betsy, is there going to be some easy way to identify the folks that are providing these organizing/coaching services? As a relative noob, I'm not sure I'd recognize all of these folks on sight, but I'd sure like to take advantage of the chance to jump with them. Is there a tent? Particular location? Listen for announcements? Find you and make you introduce me?;)

Here are the pics of Greg Gasson and Omar http://www.skydiveaz.com/_filmoffice_data/filmoffice_aerialstunts.html

As for airspeed, just check out their website and you can find all the members on there..

Those of you that have stayed in the bunkhouse and/or team trailers, would you suggest I bring my own sleeping bag & pillow, or just use the stuff there?

Betsy: If I wanna use the stuff there, do you guys need to knwo in advance, and is it extra cost?

Hey, I'm the one who asked an Airspeed member (who was wearing an Airspeed rig at the time, though it wasn't at Eloy) "Are you actually on Airspeed or do you just have one of their old rigs?":D

I'm notoriously bad at recognizing people from their photos. I did manage to figure out who the members of Airspeed were the last time I was at Eloy, so maybe I'll figure it out this time as well. ;)

Its included in the room charge and generally left in the room.

Dropzone.com has their own tent and Gasson comes by often. You can't miss his rig tho...electric blue, orange and yellow.:)
