BillyVance 35 #1 December 31, 2005 Well well well, I'll be damned... The LSU Tigers are knocking the poop out of the Miami Hurricanes (to steal a line out of Waterboy)... Currently 40 to 3 late in the 4th quarter... Dayum! I haven't seen Miami dominated so thoroughly since the 1992 season when Alabama blew them out for the national championship! I friggin' hate the Hurricanes... So pompous and arrogant... now being sent back home with their grungy tails tucked between their legs. Oh it feels sooo good.... BillyVance 35 #3 December 31, 2005 QuoteJamarcus Who? Yeah, that's the biggest surprise... I thought it would be a good game with Miami giving them a rough time without Jamarcus... after all, look what Georgia did to them in the SEC title game... Go figure. Lindercles 0 #4 December 31, 2005 LSU just intercepted. I'm loving this game. I've pretty much always hated Miami, but ESPECIALLY during the '02 championship game when the announcers showed the victory party invitaion that Willis MacGahee had been handing out. It's the only time I ever actually enjoyed a player getting hurt, and I still feel guilty about it. That and I've liked LSU ever since they beat the cOck sUckers two years ago. Actually, the only time I ever liked those cOck sUckers was when Texas A&M came into the Sooners stadium with new coach Franchione, and the Sooner fans chanted Bama's "We're gonna beat the hell out of you!" statement... They did... 77 - 0... ouch... Lindercles 0 #6 December 31, 2005 Pssh, whatever. That just means they're unoriginal. Don't even get me started on the upside down horns! And for the record, the OU stadium is called Gaylord Stadium. No shit.

Damned if I can remember his name... he coached there a long time, in the 70's and some of the 80's I think..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
Lindercles 0 #8 December 31, 2005 Barry Switzer. Possibly because he's a freaking nut job, JMO. They do have a building named after him that houses some football memorabilia. Basically a little museum. So, if i count correctly, that makes the SEC 1-1, and the (weak) Big XII 4-1 so far. Just an observation

Just an observation Not too surprised with South Carolina's loss... not a bad year with first year coach Spurrier, they had some good games... Not quite at the top level yet. Let's see... Georgia and Auburn should win their games. I'm not sure about Florida and Alabama. I'm guessing the SEC will go 3-3. We've got tougher matchups overall this year. How about after the game was over and the teams mixed it up in the tunnel? Bunch of sore losers, maybe?
