Scoop 0 #2 December 31, 2005 Haha, hardly the savage beating you wouldnt mind admitting to! Can you guys have dogs destroyed after attacks? We can over here
NlghtJumper 0 #3 December 31, 2005 I think once an animal has attacked, it is automaticly put down. I know I had a friend who had "Beware of Dog" signs posted all over their property, and some idiot walked up their yard, to the fence and tried to pet it. Of course the guy got bit, and animal control came and put the dog down. It was a good dog, who just didnt like strangers when its family wasnt around... We can over here Yes and no, whether the animal is destroyed or not depends on which state you happen to live in, sometimes even which community you live in. Generally speaking if an animal is deemed to be viscious then it's destroyed. The only naturals in this sport shit thru feathers...
Scoop 0 #5 December 31, 2005 Yeah, I think we have to make a request. The injured party has to make a statement to the effect that thate animal was vicious and is a risk to other people. But the police do have an overriding power though Id have to look it up in the big book of words to find out what act/section it is! I know we put one down. One of the local scallies used to have some horribly ill behaved staff bull terrier and he used to use it as a weapon against other people and police. Not anymore Is sad for the dog tho

Not anymore Is sad for the dog tho From what I recall of staff bulls, they're not normally ill behaved, unless raised or trained that way. It's a pity about the dog, hope the owner got some serious stick time! The only naturals in this sport shit thru feathers...

Finn 0 #8 December 31, 2005 We did a door last week and one of our guys got bit by a pit bull. The dogbuster didn't scare him off. Dog got taze'd and is scheduled for euthanasia. Bit through a Kevlar glove. I feel a little bad because I hope my dog would act the same way if a bunch of people stormed my home, but we can't have drug dealers armed with pitbulls. May have to consider gettin' me some chihuahuas... LOL
