Kimblair13 0 #1 January 2, 2006 Seriously. I don't think anyone ever looks in that forum. Since everyone and their dog (haha) looks in this one...can someone here tell me if 1GB is big enough for my HC 32 (memory stick that is of 1GB)? Also if anyone knows anything about Royal Lens and how much longer til they're back in stock of their wide angles lens'?
Superman32 0 #2 January 2, 2006 The memory stick is used to store the photos taken by the camcorder. It will also store fotage from another cam via firewire. If that's what you are looking for then 1 gig should be pretty large. I accidentally saved a couple of skydives on the 8MB card that came with the camera, so I think 1 gig would allow for alot of footage Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! BlueSBDeath 2 #3 January 2, 2006 I post to that area too, but was not sure of what you wanted to know.........stills or video.........?? Plenty of room for video quality stills, not so much for video captured to memory stick. Not much help.........I know.... Kimblair13 0 #4 January 2, 2006 Sorry I meant stills...I should have been more specific. Thanks!!
PhreeZone 20 #5 January 2, 2006 Why? The stills quality from the camera part is about the same quality as what a cell phone takes. Video captures are the same low quality. If you want to throw money away... get a large memory stick since it can only be used in Sony cameras. If you want to save some money use the 8-16 meg stick it comes with. As to why no one answers... almost all of your questions have been asked a few times before. Search and the answers are there.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Kimblair13 0 #7 January 2, 2006 QuoteIf you want to save some money use the 8-16 meg stick it comes with. Umm...thanks but it didn't come with one, that's why I need one, DUH! QuoteAs to why no one answers... almost all of your questions have been asked a few times before. Search and the answers are there. Actually I did multiple searches. Thanks for being a search Nazi though. And only one of my questions I found any help with by searching, which was about matching my camcorder to my still camera. Did did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, or just always this anal? Or...do you just have a small wee wee. QuoteThey saw it was you, thats why! Haha. That's what I thought. PhreeZone 20 #8 January 2, 2006 Try this thread: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1702744#1702744 You don't need one if you are going for screen captures, your computer will capture them and even de-interlace them to improve the quality. I've thrown out the 4 meg stick mine came with and have'nt used the 32 meg one in years. Its not worth it since you need to use the computer to access the memory stick anyways its easier to just get screen caps from the video program.http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1748243#1748243 To answer the next question before you even ask, you need firewire and a firewire card to access the video. The USB on the camera will only access the memory stick Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Kimblair13 0 #9 January 2, 2006 Thanks.I don't really know anything about cameras, and anyone I ask at my DZ acts just as clueless. So that's why I ask multiple lame questions on here.
