waltappel 1 #11 December 29, 2005 Ok, I promised myself I was not going to post in the forums for a while, but you guys have managed to suck me back into it. I'm not capable of even comprehending the possibilities that can come our way in a year's time. I'm more of a day-by-day kind of person. I have no clue what possibilities will come my way, but here's what I want: For starters, I want to wake up everyday and be grateful for having been given the opportunities that go with that. I want to love myself and others and be loved, whether I really deserve it or not. I want to be healthy. Forget wealthy and wise. Wealthy would be nice, but I'm pretty comfortable as is. Wise? After reading some of my stories, you know that is just not in the cards for me. I don't want to lose my sense of humor. Not even for a moment. Life without humor is either tedious or painful. I don't like tedium or pain, although sometimes the idea of just a little pain can turn me on. I want to be open to people who may be new in my life today, but just might stick around for a while and make both of us happy for having done it. I want to continue to be thankful for having friends like you guys. I think everything else will kind of take care of itself if I can just make this stuff happen. Slowfaller 0 #12 December 29, 2005 Do a little snowboarding and a visit to Vegas. Maybe get a new garage door at the Home Depot and check out Bed Bath and Beyond but I don't know if there will be enough time. That'll turn out to be a real nice Saturday. My future sis-in-law wants to get her "A" (one tandem done and another one paid for) so that'll get my ass to the DZ and jump. Also have to save as much money as possible, got a wedding to pay for --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Walt _______________________________________ That, is a pretty cool out look! Here's my spin on your list... I just want to wake-up in the morning. I want to love myself too and a Hooters girl wouldn't hurt the equasion! Don't tell my wife, I said that! I'll take healthy and wise. Wealthy, I'm not so sure about. Somebody will just try to get it from me! I'm with you! I don't want to lose my sense of humour either. I would like to see the American people 'lighten-up' a little and quit taking themselves so serious. We need to laugh a little at ourselves once in awhile! I want to be open to people also. I'm still gonna keep my hand on my wallet! O.K., I gotta agree with this one 100% about all the folks here! I agree also with your last one. I feel, things happen to us for a reason. It's how we deal with it, that makes us what we are. While we're at it, I wish you and all the folks here a great New Year and looking forward to seeing everyone here in '06. Y'all be safe! ...and, keep all our troops in your prayers! Chuck
