lawrocket 3 #1 January 5, 2006 I seem to recall a particular national championship game where a fumbled punt changed the game into a USC rout. WIll this game suck? My wife is hotter than your wife.
skymama 37 #2 January 5, 2006 I saw Matthew McConaughey. I'm not really watching for the football anymore. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Lindercles 0 #3 January 5, 2006 No. This game will not suck. Period. No game in the history of football has been won in the first quarter. Yeah, it'll go back and forth a few times, but both teams are talented enough, and mentally strong enough not to let it get to them. No matter what happens, this game won't be over until the clock reads 0:
lawrocket 3 #4 January 5, 2006 QuoteNo game in the history of football has been won in the first quarter. I think this game was. http://www.cumberland.edu/about/gotc/pbp.html It was Georgia Tech 65, Cumberland 0 at the end of the first quarter. Final score - 222-0. Georgia Tech didn't have a first down in the game, because every offensive play Georgia Tech ran resulted in a touchdown run. I think this one was won in the first quarter. Lindercles 0 #5 January 5, 2006 Dammit, I was actually thinking about that game when I made that post, but I thought "no one cares enough to do that research." I was wrong. But given the flow of the game so far, I still stick to my point.

My Jackets took care of business that day unlike they have in a long time. On to the game at hand, its going to be a great game no matter the outcome, look at your TV and you will see some of the most incredible atheletes to play college football and they are all on the field playing each other. what more can you ask for...i mean really.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
tumbler 0 #7 January 5, 2006 Longhorns should not have the lead right now... his knee was clearly down....
Lindercles 0 #8 January 5, 2006 I'm actually a bit pissed about that myself. They had to hurry to get the next play started so it couldn't be reviewed and ended up missing the extra point. I'd hate to see that affect the outcome of the game.
tumbler 0 #9 January 5, 2006 At this rate it may not.... Texas looks good right now and that was a solid TD they just got...
Lindercles 0 #10 January 5, 2006 Yeah, but like i said before, both teams are too good to count this game over until it's over. But it looks like USC just got their repayment when they didn't review that Drew Kelson interception.
tumbler 0 #11 January 5, 2006 That is some bad clock managment in the last 30 seconds...
Lindercles 0 #12 January 5, 2006 Or good defense, depending on your perspective. They did, after all, have only time out left.
tumbler 0 #13 January 5, 2006 I wonder who decided that Dan Fouts would be good with Keith Jackson... come on, talk about the king of the obvious.
Lindercles 0 #15 January 5, 2006 Agreed, but some people need that. Especially in this case, as i'm sure there are many people for whom this is their only game of the year to watch.
tumbler 0 #16 January 5, 2006 but Jiminey Christmas... "When Young got out of bed this morning he had breakfast"... Really? breakfast... wow.
Lindercles 0 #17 January 5, 2006 what is it with the second half? Do people just get tired? drunk? what? all my friends have stopped calling and messaging me, and everyone here has stopped posting. and that was a damn good third quarter!
Hambone 0 #18 January 5, 2006 thats the reggie that i expected to see. but it is like i said earlier today its hard and almost impossible to stop a defenece with so many weapons. they (Texas) were keying on Bush and then white went crazy... i think that texas is getting tired. atleast their defence.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
Lindercles 0 #19 January 5, 2006 they're also apparently having problems with cramping, which is just weird. (insert vagina jokes here) but it's still a damn close game. 5 points with 9 minutes left. One stop and UT is right back in it. My insides are crossed.
Hambone 0 #20 January 5, 2006 well you have more in it than i do but i don't know that Matt is going to let that happen. and Vince isn't looking as strong as he was. He has played an incredible game. One touch down and this starts to get out of hand in a bit.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
Hambone 0 #21 January 5, 2006 watch those late hits. they are worth 15...stupid mistakes, you have to wonderr where they have been if they hadn't made those mistakes.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
Lindercles 0 #22 January 5, 2006 well, the same could be said for USC. An illegal procedure and a delay of game at the end of the second half. Both teams have made mistakes, but I think they've both played to their potential. In this case, barring any spectacularly stupid mistakes in the last few minutes, the better team will win the game. Man, that hurts to say...
Hambone 0 #23 January 5, 2006 that was a sick colision. i hate to see these guys get hurt.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama

Oh and totally off base Hans and others were on INHD from 8 to 9 this evening on blade raid. ... ... Back to the game.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
CanuckInUSA 0 #25 January 5, 2006 QuoteWIll this game suck? Definitely not!!! 38-33 USC with 3:58 left in the game. Is this one of those last team with the ball wins games?
