Gooffing arouNd on the slopes

Recommended Posts

I was hitting up the slopes today with a few skiing budies and decided to give snowboarding a shot for the first time. Picked it up super fast, but no pain no gain, so im hurting alot right now....
anyway at one point I caught my toe edge on a really steep slope and for what ever reason :S when I hit the ground, I immediatly went into the arch and then tracked all way down. My firend who was watching died with laughter.

Just thought I'd share my day with u guys/gals..

p.s It maybe be a good way to keep current durring the winter;)
p.p.s. u need slippery jacket for it to work well .

I usually PLF when I hit the ground. It's a little more difficult with a board strapped to your feet, but almost as effective. B|

PLF= parachute landing fall. Stick with this sport, you'll learn it. Learn to do it well and it'll save your ass ...and arms ....and legs.

Yep..........I finally got BACK on a snowboard after something like a 12 year lay off. Within 30 minutes I was back zooming down the slopes and taking at least small jumps. I realized something though. Like many other sports I used to do.........it just doesn't have shit on skydiving. B|
