kelel01 1 #26 January 6, 2006 It's not about the words at all . . . it's just the type of music. I don't even know that I can recall any of the words to "Liberate" without it playing. Oh, and I *gulp* agree with you on one thing - I LOVE that song from "Adrenaline Rush". It's called "When You're Fallin'".

I couldn't get it back into my head until you said that! Now it's there -- THANK YOU! Now, who sings it? I love the "la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la" stuff in it. Sounds so "world-music"! The vocal sounds SO much like Peter Gabriel to me, but I'm told it's not him... -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" groundrush134 0 #29 January 6, 2006 "Alive" by P.O.D. or maybe some Stevie Ray Vaughan "little Wing"~~~>
divegoddess 0 #30 January 6, 2006 Why Stevie Ray's version of little wing? Why not go Hendrix? I don't know why I always hear punk in my head when I think about skydiving. Almost anything from NOFX. Nine Inch Nails could also be good. If you like metal try some Unearth, or maybe some Opeth, or even Into Eternity (they have killer guitar breakdowns) If you like electronic try some Broken Spindles. I think the album Fulfilled Complete is amazing. You didn't really give us any hints on your preference of music genre.

shall555 0 #32 January 6, 2006 I would love to see one of these great skydiving video editors/artists use Phil Seymour's "Let Her Dance" in a great freefly video. Ok, ok, so it's very 80s, but it's got the perfect beat. If no one else does it before I learn to fly a camera, I'll do it myself -- I'm warning ya! shall
Evelyn 0 #33 January 6, 2006 I had Tom Petty's Freefallin for my tandem video so whenever I hear it it brings back memories of my first skydive. On one of my student videos they put the Dangerzone song from the soundtrack of Top Gun and that was pretty cool for a skydiving video. I go to Itunes and preview songs before I down load them to my Ipod. They have a pretty good selection. peacefuljeffrey 0 #34 January 6, 2006 QuoteWhy Stevie Ray's version of little wing? Why not go Hendrix? The first version of that song I ever heard was Sting's, and it's still my favorite. He makes it sound a lot more poetic and emotional. -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" I can not listen to that song anymore. I swear it went on every passenger's video when I was doing tandems.

(How about that -- I recognized Peter Gabriel's voice! I never did see the credit for the song, though, so I never heard of that group. Is that a band that has, like, albums and stuff?) -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!"
