skybytch 273 #1 January 6, 2006 Who comes up with these show ideas? How do I go about getting their job? I know I could come up with crap like this and still have time to post whore for the other 7 hours and 59 minutes of the work day. Most everything on television sucks anyway, but this is so bad I had to leave the room. I could feel my brain melting... [we need a hurling smiley] Does anybody really watch something like this for more than the two minutes the commercials are on another channel? edit to add - sorry if I've just offended anyone who actually enjoys shows like this. Evelyn 0 #2 January 6, 2006 I agree Lisa. I think they should have a show entitled "jumping with the stars" and they could have a variety of people making jumps with high profile jumpers. Compete to see who is the best skydiver at the end of the series. I think that would be much more entertaining . jumper03 0 #3 January 6, 2006 huh? I stay away from TV....watched a bit in Eloy and saw a show about the biggest loser - I'm not missing much ... I'm with ya bytch....Scars remind us that the past is real
GravityGirl 0 #4 January 6, 2006 Better yet, make the stars jump. Or at least the "has been" and daytime TV starts. See which one becomes the best skydiver. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
skybytch 273 #5 January 6, 2006 QuoteI stay away from TV.. Normally I do too. But a certain person who lives here likes to have it on...
GravityGirl 0 #6 January 6, 2006 It wouldn't be so bad as background noise, but the music sucks ass! Yes. I just turned it on. Kind of like a car wreck that you have to look at. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
skybytch 273 #7 January 6, 2006 QuoteOr at least the "has been" and daytime TV starts. Maury Povich vs Jerry Springer! Oprah vs Ellen! Bob Barker vs Alex Trebek! I like.
Evelyn 0 #8 January 6, 2006 I live in Los Angeles and kind of know some people in the industry. I'll suggest it and split the proceeds with you if it goes . Don't know why it wouldn't work, much better than the current shows IMO. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
GravityGirl 0 #9 January 6, 2006 Awesome! I would also like to put in my request to be one of the JMs. Particularly if it's a HOT "has been" star! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Shotgun 1 #11 January 6, 2006 Hmm, I haven't seen that one... but I did see an ad for something about ice skating with celebrities, or something like that, and it looked sort of dangerous... and I was wondering, "What the....???" But yeah, coming up with ideas for new reality shows might be a fun job... as long as they don't mind me using Jack Daniels to enhance my "creativity"... freeflir29 0 #12 January 6, 2006 TV? Don't watch it much and when I do it's often NOT American TV so I have no idea what you are talking about. Thankfully!

We need some real celebrity death-matches in the ring. That's right, pair them up in a boxing or wrestling ring and let 'em at each other, to the death. Remember the MTV series? That was soooo fun to watch! Muenkel 0 #17 January 6, 2006 Yup, Shotgun is correct. It's about to get worse Lisa. Skating with celebrities featuring Nancy "WHY WHY" Kerrigan. Now on the flipside, the new American Idol starts up in about a week or so. I'm hooked on that show. I believe the primary reason for this show was to expose main stream America to ballroom dancing since it will become (or has become) an Olympic sport. The only naturals in this sport shit thru feathers... legwarmers 0 #19 January 6, 2006 my mom is obsessed with these shows! She loves American Idol and Dancing With the Stars and Survivor and basically anything that is musical or reality and even better if it's both! I'm so ashamed. -kendal
PLFXpert 0 #20 January 6, 2006 Me & your mom should have coffee No offense taken at all, Lisa. I spend my self-recommended time making sure I'm current on events, research things unknown, work & responsibilities. The rest of the time, I enjoy mindless activities like reality T.V. And I absolutely do NOT understand those that do not watch T.V. I flippin love my MTV Admitedly, though, I fell asleep after the first half of Dancing with the Stars. But, I think for me, that was the pointIf ya'll don't watch at least the first part of American Idol you are royally missing out. I absolutely love it--and no, I don't feel guilty of it exploiting the tone-deafPaint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

[no really, we need a hurling smiley] So I wake up this morning and the guys - yes, I said guys - on the radio are discussing the show. Like, debating which of the stars did the best job and which one they think is going to win and how the rules should be changed so the stars aren't stuck with the same partners for the whole season.
