To make a long story short I'm trying to get a refund from Priceline because the flight I was supposed to be on was weathered out. I send an email saying that I need to get a refund and that I am over seas and need to settle this in email. I UNABLE to call. They send an email back saying "Thanks.....we'll be glad to take care of this for you if you'll call our customer service number 1-800 blah blah." OK........I told them in the first email that I could NOT call them. This needed to be settled by email so this time I was a bit more to the point with something to the effect of "What part of I CANNOT call you do you not understand?" Here's the SECOND email I got back from them. "Thank you for taking the time to send us an e-mail. We apologize for any inconvenience and understand that you are out of United States and so will not be able to call us in regards to your airline reservation booked to travel to Los Angeles. In our previous communication, we did provide you a phone number to call, if your location prevents you from accessing our toll-free numbers in the United States. In order to assist you further, please call us at 412-690-2034. " Am I typing this in freakin English? It really is the rest of the world that has lost it's freakin mind!!!!!!!!! I have friends who go thru this quite a bit... very annoying to say the least.
