I should clarify that I am referring to the appliance version, not the human version, which usually expresses its displeasure in other ways (though I suspect I would worry if it started beeping, too).

But perhaps my appliance has been feeling a bit neglected lately. I *have* been traveling a lot.

(But you do make an excellent point about stopping mid-cycle... always finish what you start. )
