How about getting yourself a BIG box of rechargable batteries, and one of those really fast battery chargers. That way, the kids won't be asking why their toys' batteries are always drained. Think of it in the big picture... if "mommy" and "daddy" never played around in the first place, there would be no children, and hence, no childrens toys with batteries to steal.
