Thanatos340 1 #2 January 13, 2006 That reminds me of some of the Harmless Viruses that we used to play with in the early 90`s. Cookie Monster was my Favorite. While working away on a Document.. The User would suddenly be prompted with" Gimme Cookie".. Their machine would be frozen until they typed "Cookie". Then it went away. Bulldozer was fun too. While the victim was typing, a Bulldozer would run across the screen and push their Text off the screen. Then everything would return to normal. Another one you could set up with any message you wanted and then Randomly while they were typing.. No matter what keys they typed.. they would get your message on the screen. Fun and Harmless. Cornholio 0 #3 January 13, 2006 I think my favorite was when I worked at 3Com in tech support. I think we were running Windows 95a or 95b at the time. Anyway, Windows had this vulnerability that you could do a "Net Send" to someone's computer and make it BSOD. I really really wish they didn't patch this hole, as it was quite hilarious to just run down the list of co-worker computer names and send a BSOD their way. LOL Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
grue 1 #4 January 13, 2006 There was a programme a long time ago called Netbus that did similar things. I took great pleasure in sending someone an IM saying "FEED ME!" and opening their CD drive cavete terrae.
