Did anybody know the only two teams in the NFL to win every home game this season are the Broncos and the Seahawks? Granted, the Broncos will have to go on the road to Indianapolis if the Colts win tomorrow. But I like Seattle's chances of going to the Super Bowl a lot, as long as Alexander recovers from the concussion.

Broncos might have the best defense in the NFL! Go Broncos!!! I dont see the Steelers beating the Colts so I think the Broncos will give the Colts all they want and maybe more next weekend. Go Broncos!!!!!

Actually, Tumbler, I didn't have any team for whom I was pulling. I THOUGHT the Pats would win. But, I even openly supported the Broncos when I attended Super Bowl 21, when the Broncs lost to the Giants. I was wearing Orange that day.

As I look at it, the Broncos looked like a better team in the first half. The Pats, however, made some crucial defensive plays that held the Broncs without points on deep drives.

Then the piecs fell apart. When Faulk fumbled, it wasn't TOO extreme of a situation. But then the wind was taken out of the sails of the Pats by virtue of an absolutely bullshit pass interference call. My wife is a Tom Brady fan, so she supported the Pats. She knew that I didn't have any particular team to support, so she was surprised when I said, "What a bullshit call." Then the replay demonstrated that it was even more bullshit - the receiver was holding the cornerback, and it should have been PI the other way.

"I guess now the Patriots know what it feels like to be an Oakland Raider," I mentioned. Calls like that go against the Raiders and not the Pats. I started to feel bad for the Pats, until I remembered that they would have been eliminated back in Jan., 2002 but for the bullshit "tuck rule" call. Yeah, I still felt bad for them.

But, the Broncos WERE the better team yesterday before the bullshit call, at least until the Pats figured out the Broncos blitz packages.

Should be a fun game next weekend. Personally, I hope Indy wins today and next week. I don't want Manning to be the next Marino.

The best part about this season is that for most of the year, the NFL experts have ignored the Broncos and focused on other teams (Colts, Pats, Eagles, etc, etc, etc). Of course they'll still need to show up next Sunday against a good Steelers squad. But despite the fact that most of the NFL doesn't know what Denver can do and never gave them much of a chance to do anything this year, I like the Broncos chances against Blitzburgh. Denver is solid on D and have enough offense to move the ball and put points on the board. It should be a fun Sunday for football fans.

I also like Denver's chances. Unlike Manning, Plummer can be effective outside of the pocket. That means that the blitzing of Pittsburgh will be less effective, and I expect a lot more fake blitzes with Pittsburgh dropping 7 or 8 defenders into zone coverage.
