Your boss is male or female? what's your relataionship with him/her?

Recommended Posts

I have a male boss. He is the same age as my parents, which is quite a bit older than the norm. So, I treat him as I would my parents. We have a great relationship. He gets pissed off, he curses, I get pissed off, I curse. He doesn't want me in his office, he tells me to get the f#%k out. I've learned a lot from him, he's not in the law field to screw people over, he's upfront, honest and he genuinely cares about people. I'm going to be sad to leave him when I finallly get the f#%k out of there for good.

I have many bosses, male and female. I get a long pretty well with some of them, while others just seem to be looking to find anything wrong with me so they can correct me. I dont mind, I have worked with them for a year and a half, and I have gotten pretty accustomed to their ways.

If you are male/male or female/female? or mixed...how well is it or has it worked for you?

My current boss is female and I get along with her really well. I have worked mostly for women and much prefer it. As a nurse for seven years or so, I was in a female-dominated field and found that I was generally treated really well (mainly because I was good for heavy lifting, I think).

I don't have anything against working for men, but my preference is definitely women.

My boss is a gay male and we get along just fine. In fact, we have been friends for over 15 years before I came to work for him.

My boss is the nicest guy I have ever worked for. He trusts me to do my job to the best of my ability, helps me when I'm not sure how to proceed, provides lots of positive feedback and lets me know where and how to improve.

Best
boss
ever.

My business partner is a female. She can be ball-breaking at times and at other times insecure. It helps that she is cute. We sometimes get affectionate at work, and we've even had sex a few times after work. Something about working together so closely. She's also very good with my son, and used to breast feed him daily.

Before going into business for myself, I always had men for bosses. The best boss I ever had, was a real demanding, 'hard-ass'. I got along great with him and loved working for him. We got along great where the other guys couldn't stand him. I just gave him a days work for a days pay... bottom line. It was the best job I ever had. Broke my heart, when he retired and closed the company.

....sometimes she tells me what to do. Then I just tell her to piss off.

Oh, not YOU.... :P

My current boss is a guy, and a good boss. I've gotten along with MOST of my bosses, as long as they aren't micromanagers... I *can't* deal with that type.
