Good stories! I think my girlfriend and I should go out to one of these and pretend not to know each other, just for kicks. Speed Dating seems like an awesome source of humorous anecdotes, if nothing else. That and she can circle "no" next to my name just to annoy me. Or maybe not...

Also: consider learning to smoke, even if you don't intend taking it up. It will widen your target audience.

I have never done it but I have a few relatives that have done it. My aunt went once and all 23 guys circled yes. She just laughed and sd she got 15 free dinners out of it. but it must work out cause she still see's one of the guys off and on after 2 years.

This is so funny! I was at this bar with a friend of mine a few years back where they were having a speed dating thing. I ended up meeting a guy that was in it (even though I wasn't) and we went out a few times. He turned into a total dud though and on the third date when he leaned in to kiss me I just turned my head and said "no, I don't think so. Get out." (he was in my car and I was dropping him off at home). His breath stank like rancid lamb.
