Weird Skydiving Dream (yeah another one)

So, I'm a little freaked out by this dream, not gonna lie.

Basically, I was at my house in pennsylvania (I guess home from break) and we were all outside with my family and we happen to look up and see skydivers. So we all gather together and watch and I, of course, start talking about what they're doing. (we could see the skydivers like free flying and stuff)

So we're watching and they go to pull and there were 3 total. 2 of them open, one of them ends up with a pilot chute in tow and goes to his reserve and then that malfunctions and all of a sudden hes in a really fast spin that he can't stop.

The other two guys are trying to get to him but cant. They're getting closer to my house as we watch and then all of a sudden they are right over us and the guy spinning lands in the yard face down. The other two guys swoop the street and come running over.

I go sprinting over to help him and he turns over and is ok, but broke his arm. We start to help him and call 911, but thats when my alarm went off and I woke up breathing hard and sweaty.

Yeah it scared the shit out of me....just seemed randome to have this kind of dream, especially since I havent jumped in almost 4 months....

I just thought I'd share....not reading into it all, but it still scared the crap out of me because it was so real...

I've had plenty of the normal skydiving dream...bounce, get up, dust off sheepishly. The only skydiving dream I've had that scared me was watching a friend bounce and being unable to help him.

I had a dream once that everyone on the lift was a zombie.

I know, I know, there are so many obvious jokes about this, it hurts, but it's a true story.

Biggest lesson from the dream: zombies can't arch well.

I recently had a dream that my brother took me goose hunting. We were in the blind and it was freezing cold. He told me they were coming and to get down while he called them in. He started calling them in and then he through the lid of the blind open and yelled, "Get 'em!"

Instead of geese landing he started shooting people swooping under canopy. I started yelling at him, "These are people they are not geese!"

Then I woke up.

Hey, at least the guy only had a broken arm and didn't die. The dream could've taken a bad turn but it stayed pretty much OK.

I've had weird skydiving dreams. Dreamt I was doing a BASE jump, and by the time I went to pull my pilot chute I was on the ground, landed right on my feet. Woke up thinking "what the fuck?!?".

Had another dream where I had a malfunction with my main and by the time I pulled my reserve I was at about 50ft. Pulled the reserve, it inflated a few feet from the ground and I was fine. Funny that the guy I was jumping with in the dream didn't seem to think much of it.

I just have fucked up dreams in general, so your dream doesn't seem too strange to me!

I often dream that I have a malfunction and for whatever reason I cannot reach my reserve handle after cutting away. I end up bouncing but I always walk away alive anyway. Not sure what to make of that.
