Wonder if they need any pilots at any of the DZ's ya'll have included. Cept' SK Dallas, I don't have the hours or ratings for the turbines yet.....

Talk to Lloyd, the DZO at www.skydiveairtight.com in Skiatook (15 miles north of Tulsa) He is always open to pilots looking for flying time, and he has a top knotch Cessna.

BTW, you're always welcome there. Stop by and say howdy. ;)

Friend of mine sent it to me....i guess because pegasus (where we jump half of the time...other half skydive dallas) and we get irked about people being scared of the BIG SCARY POWERLINE....its actually quite comical....lots of people have heard and say oh thats the place with the big powerline.....which only comes into play if your an idiot (*hint* dont aim parachute at powerline) anyway...it actually splits the runway and landing area....actually pretty good at keeping people from landing on the runway. But i see what you mean...original post was like two years ago...LOL!

I went to Metro tech 89-91 for my A&P in OKC at Will Rogers airport right next to FAA... No I didn't care much for living in OKC and dropzones are all Cessna 182 DZ and in hot summer your lucky if any one shows up at Dropzone to jump... I often showed up at Cushing DZ and was only one there other than a tandem student or two...

I got out of Oklahoma as fast as I could...

my 2 cents worth.

If you didn't come thru Tulsa then you missed the BEST city in Oklahoma. Tulsa has big hills, a big river running right by down town ( a very pretty river not like the mud stream in OKC ), and many large lakes within an hour or less of town ( not mud holes like around OKC ), and plenty of trees.
( i'm really not biased ) :P
