RhondaLea 4 #2 January 22, 2006 It's just spam. You need a better service provider. My AT&T account is crap when it comes to blocking these; I get about 10-15 a day. Yahoo (paid account) does an excellent job of filtering spam as does Gmail. You should also probably check for spyware. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. steveorino 7 #3 January 22, 2006 I know it is spam, but how do you get rid of it? Report to cox.net, my email provider? I have Norton, Ad-ware, and others nothing stops it. steveOrino

RhondaLea 4 #5 January 22, 2006 QuoteI know it is spam, but how do you get rid of it? Delete it. Spam is ubiquitous. Like junk mail. It takes less time to hit the delete key than it does to make a fuss over it. I used to report all my spam to SpamCop, as well as sending a copy to what is now spam@uce.gov. It doesn't make a difference. For every spammer that gets nailed, five take his/her place. Just delete it. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. skydyvr 0 #7 January 22, 2006 QuoteIt doesn't make a difference. I beg to differ. Hitting the delete key does nothing to deter spammers, and certainly doesn't get you removed from any lists. Using the software I mentioned above actually works -- I get almost zero spam now. . . =(_8^(1)
