AlexCrowley 0 #1 January 22, 2006 Peter Jackson's version of Lord of the Rings is the first time that JRR Tolkien had his WORDS translated to a Trilogy containing 3 movies, and it has such an Epic Cinematic layout, only Peter Jackson could have directed it. Much of what is hidden in it's content, without exploration of the hidden features many do not know it exists. Since 2001, when it was first released, people have been watching the Lord of the Rings, and without realizing it they have watched thousands of hidden things put there by Pete Jackson without knowing it. I have found so many of these things, and found more of them listed on IMDB. Some of them are so remarkable, it boggles the mind that they have been there since 2001. It is a testament to Pete Jackson with his attention to detail for the amount of hidden things, but a testament of fandom for those that have sat through the hours of additional material on the DVD set. There was over 12,500,000 rings used for the chainmail in the movies, 1,600 rubber feet and ears were used, 200,000 computer generated extras for the battles, in over 683 minutes of movie time (210 minutes for Fellowship, 222 minutes for Twin Towers, 251 for Return of the King) and not a single edit is misplaced. If there was it would destroy the entire Jacksonian layout. The entire trilogy from Jackson is PERFECT, and He is such an awesome and skilled director that it would be hard to imagine him ever making a mistake. He did not need New Line Entertainment to correct mistakes that he never made. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.

Muenkel 0 #13 January 22, 2006 Arthur, I'm revoking your driving privileges! We have to deal with the kinder, gentler AlexCrowley. Yes, it is nauseating as micro put it. It is a burden we must all now bear. As for LOTR, I actually have not seen any of the films. I've read the books and loved them. I think I'll purchase that boxed set. They should keep me entertained during my recuperation. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

By the end of the third one I would have been happy to see the orcs win. PS without getting personal or any thing I'm wondering if some responses are reminiscent of the Roman games crowd when their fave gladiator refused to slaughterl any more unarmed christians? Could be a race memory just sneaking out.
 GTAVercetti 0 #15 January 22, 2006 No sir, I don't like it. Far too simple of a joke.
