sharimcm 0 #1 December 9, 2005 Yes, I am trying to find the information on the USPA website, but obviously I am not looking in the right place. I wanted to find out how many days you can go without making a jump before having to do a coach jump or recurrency jump. I haven't fallen out of any planes since August.... Is it 30 days? 90 days? Can someone point me in the right direction? I need to know how much dough to take to the DZ this weekend! Any help? sharimcm 0 #5 December 9, 2005 Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be doing a recurrency jump. I blame my lapse in jumping on bad weather/high winds days, getting the flu, then bronchitis, losing my job, moving to Arizona, moving back to Texas, my car needing repairs, my DZ being open only on the weekends and Wednesdays, and a 2 hour + drive... Other than all that, I would have been there every weekend... Oh, and now the reserve needs repacked... today... Looks like I won't be jumping this weekend either. skybytch 273 #6 December 9, 2005 The info you're looking for is in USPA's Skydiver's Information Manual (S.I.M.) Section 5-2 Recurrency Training says A license holders who haven't jumped in 60 days should make at least one jump under the supervision of an instructor; A license holders who haven't jumped in 90 days should make at least one Cat D skydive with an AFF instructor. B license holders can go 90 days before they have to make at least one jump under the supervision of an instructor. C and D license holders can go 6 months. The S.I.M is available on USPA's website. It's also available in a printed format through USPA and/or many dz's and gear stores. If you don't have one, it's worth getting.
