Hey everyone I got all my gear stolen from my trunk of my car when I left it in there for an hour on friday night at my church in Davis California. If you see it or anything like that let me know please;
Infinity container,
Black and green fusion 190 main,

Also my jumpsuit, helmet, audibles & wrist altimeters

I already filed a police report, listed on here(DZ.com), USPA. I looked around the spot it was stolen(2-3 block radius)

That completely sucks.

Did you hit all the dumpsters in all the apartment complexes nearby? If you haven't I'd suggest doing that before the trash trucks run this week. May not find your rig but you might find the jumpsuit or instruments.

"Lost" signs with a reward posted on campus might be a good idea too...

Will be watching craigslist...

Dude, that really sucks--

But I have to ask- what do these idiots do with gear that they steal?! Skydiving isn't THAT popular that you could just sell a rig on the corner... Especially one as distinct looking as yours.. I wonder if they just steal it and realize they can't sell it, and just sit on it for years..

Good luck man, I'll keep an eye out too.

The really stupid ones show up at a local dropzone and try to sell it. More than one has found themselves in jail after doing that, because of course they don't realize how small this sport is (btw, John, don't forget to email Lodi and Byron so they can keep an eye out too).

The less stupid realize they have no use for it, that they would be stupid to try to sell it and then they go toss it into a dumpster.

Hopefully this one is really fucking stupid.

Might I suggest that you also post S/N's:

Stolen gear database
USPA
On the website you posted
Include in pictures you send to DZ's
and if AAD to the manufacturer who will set a flag on your AAD as stolen.
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yeah, post serial numbers and DOMs for the gear. If you don't have them your rigger does.

If you had an alti-2 you should post that data here
http://www.alti-2.com/customer%20support/stolen.htm

I hope it turns up, I'll keep my eye out.

It will be for sell somewhere unless by luck a skydiver stole it. If the thief does not know the value they will ditch it. Try pawn shops or any skydiving loft in your area. I pray for you since while you were praying some demon stole our pride and joy. GOFAST
It is strange, the more I practice, the better I get!
